BalBharati Rotation Program

This is a newly created initiative in 2021 aimed at fostering life skills and key characteristics that help position the participants to take on bigger initiatives at school and workplace.

Modeled after widely used rotation programs at major corporations to develop their new hires, this program takes on real challenges faced by different committees in the temple organization and aims at building solutions over a 2-3 month mentor-mentee relationship.

Program aims towards developing Critical Thinking, Communication, Analytical experience, TeamWork and Leadership among the participants.

The program is limited to members of the Bal Bharati youth group and provides them the opportunity to to select committees or operations of the temple where they have an interest, and integrate individually, or in small groups, with those committees for 8-12 weeks at a time, before rotating to another committee and another challenge to work on.

Each participating youth member is expected to rotate through one to three assignments a year at the most  — learning as apprentices alongside committee leaders, overseeing special projects, brainstorming new ideas and aiding in decision making.
